Other Teaching Experience

My data science teaching career started in London as a product developer and instructor for Decoded’s Data Academy program. In this role, I developed data science curriculum and taught sessions across the UK and EU on topics related to unsupervised and supervised learning, as well as other advanced and context-specific methodologies. Our clients included companies such as Unilever, UBS, Nike, and Cambridge University Press.

Prior to my PhD, I was a Texas state certified teacher for four years, where I taught Pre-AP U.S. History, Texas History, Speech, Health, and Physical Education classes for grades 5-8 at the intermediate and middle school level. I also served as Head Boys and Girls Track and Field/assistant Boys and Girls Cross Country Coach at Lovejoy High School and Middle School, Head Boys and Girls Cross Country Coach at Tomball High School, and Head Boys and Girls Cross Country/Head Girls Track and Field Coach at Hereford High School.
