Sessions
No new content this session. Work with your partner on your notebook, written summary, governance memo, and slides. I'm available for questions - use this time to get unstuck before presentations.
Each pair presents in a 10-minute slot (8 minutes presenting + 2 minutes Q&A). 7 pairs fit in one session. Your presentation should demonstrate all four course competencies with quantitative evidence.
Presentations
Each pair presents their final project in a 10-minute slot (8 minutes presenting + 2 minutes Q&A). Split speaking time so both partners present part of the work - I’ll direct Q&A to each of you individually. Your presentation should demonstrate all four course competencies with quantitative evidence.
What to cover
- Use case and workflow - what problem, how AI was used, show the notebook
- Evaluation - rubric, test cases, agreement metrics, what you found
- Governance - risk matrix, governance rules with quantitative thresholds
- Reflection - what surprised you, what you’d change, one thing you’ll carry forward
Peer evaluation
Each student scores 2–3 other pairs’ presentations using a simplified rubric (workflow clarity, evaluation rigor, governance substance, presentation quality). Peer scores are a calibration check and are one input alongside my grading.
Final project submission
Reproducible Python notebook, written summary with formal methods section (3–5 pages), governance memo with quantitative risk matrix and thresholds, presentation slides, peer evaluation forms, and comprehensive AI use log.
